Musical fever

When my dear friend Shari left London, I crafted a small parting gift for her.

In the half year we both lived in England’s capital we went to eight brilliant musicals together – reason enough to use our shared passion to create this personalised present.

I picked two lines of lyrics per musical and tried to write a new story, a story about our friendship ♥

In a world that’s moving too fast, in a world where nothing can last.
Into each heart some tears must fall though you love and loose you must stand tall.
And if a door be closed then a row of homes start building, and tear your curtains down for sunlight is like gold.
And though the clouds may block the sun don’t mean that it’s left the sky.
Everything’s gonna be bright lights and lollipops! Everything’s coming up rows for me and for you!
Every day starts with the tick of a clock. All escapes start with the click of a lock.
So goodbye until tomorrow! Goodbye until the next time you call.
And now whatever way our stories end I know you have rewritten mine by being my friend.
